Welcome
This web site is designed with Catholic teachers and catechists in mind. It is a place where resources are compiled to be used in the passing on of our Catholic faith to the younger generation. All of the resources here are written by me for your use. I ask only that they not be republished on any other site and that I be given fair and proper credit for future use. Please enjoy and use well the resources you find here and may my small contribution to the new evangelization be a small step in bringing young people to faith in Jesus Christ.

Wall Space
In my classroom, there's a space on my wall labeled "Random Catholic Terms." At the beginning of the year, I give each student an index card with a term on it. They are assigned to look up the term, write a brief definition on the card, then return it. I write their definitions (with my careful edits) on a large sheet of paper and display one term each week.

Where is Pope Benedict?
The Vatican
What's he doing next?
1/29/12: Sunday Angelus 2/1/12: General Audience 2/2/12: World Day for for Consecrated Life
What is he saying?
"The full and visible unity of Christians for which we long demands that we allow ourselves to be ever more perfectly transformed and conformed to the image of Christ. The unity for which we pray requires interior conversion, both communal and personal. It is not simply a matter of kindness and cooperation; above all, we must strengthen our faith in God, in the God of Jesus Christ, who has spoken to us and who made Himself one of us..."
- General Audience, 1/18/12
"No matter what we ask from God, he will always surpass our hopes." St. Charles Garnier
